I think anyone who has heard of google would be able to understand my vernacular "shorthand" in a matter of seconds. Has happyhazelnuts missed every one of the hundreds of references on these Forums and on every financial site over the many weeks since NSI Easy Access Bonds became the current "compte d'épargne du jour" ( hope that is cleareskbanker said:coachman12 said:
Easy to answer : NS&I Easy Access Bond. Good luck.
There is no product called "NS&I Easy Access Bond", as implied by coachman's capitalised wording, but they do offer Income Bonds, which are (just about) easy access....happy_hazelnuts said:and exactly what is an ns&i easy access bond?

Google NS&I ---look at their products and you'll find the following ( you'll see the word Bond and the reference to "no notice, no penalty" which is a highly technical phrase, for experts only, which means "easy access") :
Income Bonds
Rates/info
1.15% / 1.16% gross/AERInvest from £500 to £1 millionAccess: No notice, no penaltyRate: VariableTax: Taxable, paid gross

I don't normally engage in these 'discussions', however...
It would have taken you less time to type the correct product name "Income Bond" than your 'vernacular shorthand' "Easy Access Bond". There would then have been no need for OP or anyone else to 'Google NS&I', or to prolong this.2 -

Of course you do----you love it. Just as you have loved dragging on this trivial point even further than the already overlong nit-picking chatter about semantics.-1
