Hi everyone
Its blowing a gale here, annoyingly it's also sunny. Little one arrived after 9 this morning as Dd is working - we went down to keep dad company while mam went to the first church service for a long time. She had a lovely play about and dad really enjoyed watching her. Back home for her nap - she has been asleep since just before half past 11 - I'm not complaining! She'll be full of life and chat and ready for play when she wakes up.
Hope everyone has a good day12 -
I made it back! I stopped at Loch Fyne Oyster Bar for a coffee though it's not properly open yet so no yummy sandwich.Mono - I hope you feel better soon, it's all bit more weird just now as we 'transit' out. As for haircuts, I could do with one, my hair is going curly but I'm not too desparate as I've never been bothered to colour away the grey. Just haven't got the patience to sit for hours every six weeks.:)My time at home was a real tonic for me. It was so lovely to be with my own things, sit by the stove and listen to the sheep. They've just been shorn and look so skinny and miserable in the rain. When I parked the car just now the young woman in the next flat came down to help me bring the bag upstairs!!
I really don't need any help but again couldn't refuse as she had come downstairs.
Lovely photo MEHEFIN - congratulations on lasting the course!11 -
Lovely photo Mehefin. Hope you both enjoy your special day.Great that you had a good journey back Gers.Monna it is hard as we adjust.Nan - yesterday in the evening I suddenly felt guilty for posting about my GDSs. I really hope everyone is able to hug theirs soon. It was really hard not hugging my DD. The 4 yr old said you can’t hug mummy, granny. I wouldn’t have though! 😁 Such odd times we are living through but we will get there.Virtual hugs to all who would like one! X11

We've just had a visit from DD and our DGD and they stayed for a drink and cake on the patio, luckily it stayed dry. DD went to B&M yesterday which was a nightmare and at one point she had to stand in a corner as people were everywhere. She was able to get me 2 bottles of unstoppable and a tin of bacon grill for Mr Fix It, but if I'd known if was going to be that busy I wouldn't have asked her. Today she went to the local garden centre which was almost empty and bought compost, so she got me a bag too. She also bought some flowering plants but had no idea about them, step in green fingered nanny with her great gardening knowledge...... I wish !! DGD went home with 3 outfits for Barbie and the new dressing table that Mr Fix It made. Now she's put her order in for more clothes and furniture, including a shelving unit and a bed
She really didn't want to go home, fair pulls on the heart strings that.
Mehefin Happy 40th AnniversaryHere's to another 20 years at least ! Love the photo too.

MEHEFIN what a lovely memory of your wedding day. Hope you are enjoying your anniversary.
GERS Pleased to read you are back safely and hope you get some better news on DM's health.
What a blooming horrible day this has been. Wind and rain battering us until about 10.00 and then the sun came out but the strong wind stayed with us. Now we are back to the rain again and still the wind is with us. They are forecasting a better day tomorrow then the rain is back Tuesday. Bah!
Take care all xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -
Mehefin - congratulations, 40 years is a great achievement!
Blowing a hooley here but lovely blue sky and white fluffy clouds ⛅️ . Two lines of washing out and dried within a couple of hours, love drying days like these😀
Sat in the garden for a couple of hours this afternoon watching the birds which was lovely, the long tailed tits and the gold finches were out feeding- lovely to see.
We really noticed an increase in aircraft flying over this afternoon, my niece flew out to Spain yesterday 😱- think that I will give it a miss for a while, I hyperventilate it anyone gets too close to me in the shops let alone being close to people on an aeroplane!
DH cooking tonight- roast chicken with all the trimmings, might pour myself a glass of vino as well, I think that I deserve it and that’s good enough for me!
Have a good evening all.

Another one here whose DH cooked dinner tonight. We had hunter's chicken, new poatoes, green beans and peas. I made the bbq sauce and was very pleased with it.
This afternoon we went down to see DD and ds and it was heartbreaking to still not be able to hug ds. I hope we can very soon.
Well have a good evening folks.
