Hi, following on from previous threads, if I refer to the court where the repossession order was issued, they would have had to have a record of the endowment policy number and its details. Any ideas as to how best locate the court which issued the order, albeit some 31 years ago. Many thanks! Rad0

Somewhat unlikely. On the basis you failed to attend the hearing. The repossession hearing would have dealt purely with the matter of the lender being granted ownership of the property. As no defence would have been submitted. If the policy itself was formally assigned to the lender then all benefits would belong to the assignee. This would include any subsequent compensation. If there was monetary shortfall.Rad-Niknam said:Hi, following on from previous threads, if I refer to the court where the repossession order was issued, they would have had to have a record of the endowment policy number and its details.
