Joules outlet eBay shop

I bid on an item from joules outlet shop and then got an email saying eBay Bid Cancellation Notice - Item xxxx. Sounds like I was the winning bid but they didn't want to sell at that price. Is this standard practice?

Sounds like they haven't updated their stock. What did they say when you asked them?0
-
Didn't ask them, I bid 5 days ago and this happened just before I would have won the auction.0

Can you see what the auction sold for, were you outbid or are you assuming you were? Most big outlets tend to mis-manage stock rather than anything else.0

Auction says unsold so I was not outbid and showed as highest bidder until they decided to cancel my bid 😣0
