From Under Offer to SSTC?

FTB.
Before I contact our vendor's EA: I had an offer accepted 2 weeks ago. It took the EA a week to send the memorandum of sale and mark the property as Under Offer on websites. I've had my mortgage approved (subject to valuation), have instructed a solicitor and am awaiting the valuation. I'm of the opinion the property should be withdrawn from sale or at least marked SSTC. Am I right to request the EA do this?

there's really no difference between under off and SSTC.If you're concerned the vendor is still marketing, aska friendtoring and ask for a viewingBut I think you're worrying unneccesarily. Buying always taeslonger than people (esp FTB's) expect or want.Relax!3

It was rhetorical - it doesn't make any difference.0

No difference. There will be things to stress about on your journey to completion, but this isn't one of them! Good luck with your purchase.1

I think some agents use "under offer" others use SSTC2

I am in the process of purchasing a property, offer was accepted in February and has been marked as ‘Under offer’ ever since.
Looking at the agencies past listings, they only ever use that, never SSTC so I don’t think it’s anything to worry about.0 -

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
