S75 over 2 credit cards

in Credit cards
I booked a holiday at the start of 2019 with a group of friends and paid a £30 deposit at the time using credit card 1. The balance was due in Feb 2020 which I paid using credit card 2, since I had closed the original credit card 1.
We were travelling at the end of April, so the trip was cancelled due to the pandemic. The travel company sent an email a few months ago saying they'll look into a refund, but since then we have not heard from them, they have an automated reply stating their staff are furloughed.
"Due to the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the travel industry, we have had to furlough the majority of our workforce. The only way to get in touch with the staff members that are working is via the Messages tab on your XYZ website, but responses will be slower than normal.
In the meantime, please be assured that any refunds, credit notes and postponements will be issued and honoured in line with ABTA and Government guidance, however we do not currently have any of our Finance team working, so cannot commit to when refunds will be processed."
The company hasn't replied since the end of April, their social media has stopped, their telephone numbers have been closed, and no response to emails - so I'm now hoping I can log a S75 claim. My question is, I have now closed the original credit card I paid the £30 deposit, but still have the 2nd credit card I payed the remaining money on. Can I log the S75 claim with the 2nd credit card company (even if I lose the £30 deposit), or is credit card 1 responsible, as I used them to pay the deposit?
Thanks
