Does ESA allow free dental and prescriptions?

Not too concerned about the free prescriptions, but does ESA mean an entitlement to free dental treatment? Thanks.

If it’s income based ESA - yes.
if it’s contribution based or new style ESA - no.

True but it must be emphasised that pure Contribution Based ESA doesnot entitle the claimant to free treatment or prescriptions.  Getting it wrong can be expensive.

Indeed. I don't know what the penalty charge is for dental treatment but for prescriptions it used to be £50 (rising to £100 after 14 days or a month or whatever) + the cost of the prescription.
