We finally got our valuation booked for 31st July. I had to chase them myself. It has ow been passed onto the brokers PA so I think it will be smooth now, he is very quick at responding. Yes valuation was instructed before they asked for anything. Our broker filled out our COVID questions for us so I have no idea what they asked but I hope he has told them we have had the grant, I would have preferred him to have asked us. Have been told its gone to the underwriters so just waiting patiently.

They asked us for more payslips from me as I changed job, 6 months business bank statements and proof of deposit.
Ah I can imagine you are! Keep me updated with how it goes and how quickly they responded, good luck im sure it will be fine!

I'm glad you've managed to get the valuation booked!! I think they plan to assess docs while waiting for the valuation? But I honestly have no idea if we now have to wait for the full case to be underwritten. It is showing on the tracker that they have already received the valuation back so I'm hoping we hear something this week.
I will do! Least then you can get an idea on timescales after your valuation too!

Just wanted to give you an update as I know has stressful the 'not knowing' is and your valuation occurs tomorrow!
We are still waiting, they said yesterday at the earliest and now it is looking like it will be next Wednesday when we receive an answer. So you're probably looking at around 2 weeks after valuation to answer. I'll keep you posted!

@alf240 Ah thank you for remembering!! I did not see your last message. Have you had everything looked at now apart from valuation? Keeping everything crossed you hear sooner than that. Just seems to be going on forever! Although West Brom have best underwriting time scales currently so can’t complain.

Since I last posted they asked for linked address, more bank statements More covid questions More pay slips Accountants details. They had a query on income. They are apparently happy with all documentation Now though and income. We are just waiting for valuation and accountants certificate.. annoyingly it was posted to him and he’s working from home really far from office. I asked if they can email him but it’s gone to underwriting queue which takes around 3/4 days just for them to email the form (so frustrating). Then he needs to do it probs take two days .. then back to underwriting so looking at another two weeks.

Will be thinking if you! Fingers crossed

@RoloCookie no problem! I think so? They basically said they've satisfied everything on the system its now in a queue with the offer team for them to do final checks and have said 3 working days from yesterday. So I'm hoping that they've satisfied income etc.
The estate agent is literally checking in with me/pushing every other day so I'm hoping we have some news next week.

At least you should have everything you need in two weeks and from the sounds of it your seller isn't being too pushy.

Thank you! I'll keep you posted. Good luck with everything!

@alf240 The Valuation came back at the same price and all went well. So now gone through to underwritters queue which was 4-5 days when that took place. Accountant has done their certificate and sending today but its now 6 days from anything sent today :( then the offer queue currently three days. I have a positive vibe about yours :)

So we received an offer today!! Literally at like 16:45pm. So 2 weeks after the valuation took place! 4 weeks from application to offer.
Our broker is going to call me tomorrow to go through everything and discuss next stages!
Glad your valuation went ok! Good luck with the rest of the application. I can’t fault West Brom’s times scales so I hope it all goes well for you!
