Any experience with West Brom

The application is being finalised today and sent to West Brom. Anyone have any experience with them (how long it took, what asked) we are complex so it will take a while. Thanks

I went with the WestBrom as my case was a bit complicated this was after Santander gave me a mortgage which had conditions to be met before completion but WestBrom gave me an unconditional mortgage so WestBrom was a bit more relaxed in a sense.

We applied on the 8th by the 10th they had said they requested valuation and requested some more docs - we aren’t straight forward (AT ALL) self employed etc.
the estate agent then rang on Tuesday to say the valuation has been arrange for Monday 20th.... so now we wait.
our broker seems to think it will then go to underwriting? I was hoping they would’ve already assessed everything else and just waiting on the valuation....

Ah so great fun to find someone in the same boat. We got asked for more documents on 6/7 but the broker did not communicate this at all and I had to chase about 4 times. It all got submitted on 16/07 .. (extremely annoyed). We also got a valuation instructed pretty quickly but the estate agents havnt got back to them! frustrating. What extra things did you get asked for? Would love to keep in contact with regards to process as we pretty much are the same with self employment!! Good luck with it!

Same it has been more stressful than I ever imagined. Our broker has been extremely good in regards to sending docs back to them- think this does speed things up abit. Our estate agents were mithering us as to when the valuation will be so I can't understand yours not getting back to them?
Did your valuation get instructed before they asked for additional docs?
They wanted addresses clarifying on the credit report and questions relating to how covid has impacted business with being self employed. How about you?
The valuation took place yesterday so now I am on pins waiting for any form of news.
    Good luck to you too!!
