Default on credit report

I recently found out while applying for a mortgage that I have a default on my credit file. A member of my family had access to one of my accounts and had defaulted on a payment.
This default is now preventing me from purchasing my first home.
I have raised a dispute with TransUnion regarding the default. Is there anything else I could do?
Thanks

What do you mean by a member of your family had access to your account? Was it an account you were allowing them to use?
Od did they open it fraudulently?
On what basis are you disputing it?0
