Making plug sockets safer during plastering/decorating

    The socket-outlets should be isolated from the supply whilst they are off the wall. To do otherwise is hazardous.

    I've used choc boxes before but a bit time consuming. Last time though used Wago connectors placed inside plastic junction boxes. The sockets and light fittings were replaced with new ones so it made sense to use these.

    M3.5 taps have been around for ages (standard size for UK). Just be careful with pre-metrification boxes & fittings as these were imperial (5B.A. from memory).
