Email problem

I have a Samsung Galaxy 8. Just recently when I receive an email the info within the email repeats itself in the same email.  Sometimes twice and one even 5 times. Does anyone know how to fix this

Don't fully understand your query, sorry.

Do you mean that your email program downloads the same message 2/5 times?

When I receive an email I'll give you an example:
It says "meet you tomorrow at 9pm" 
then scan down the same email and again it says  "meet you tomorrow at 9pm" scan a bit more and once again
 "meet you tomorrow at 9pm"

go to bt.com (if your email is xxxx@btinternet.com) or gmail.com (xxxx@gmail.com) etc and check you don't get multiple entries there.  if ok, then uninstall and reinstall your email app on your phone.

Thank you so much, this worked. I was apprehensive about uninstalling or should I say getting it back again but all ok
