BW Legal chasing parking account

Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
I am sure there are many of these in here but I wanted to start my own. Car parked at a beach side car park in Norfolk while going to see the seals earlier this year. Parked car, went to get parking ticket, got a cup of tea at the same time as the stall was next to the ticket vendor. Put the ticket in the car window. Now we are getting letters from BW Legal for an outstanding account of £160. We have been ignoring the letters because we did have a ticket. The first letter had a photo of the front of the car and a photo of the back of the car from about 5m away where it was difficult to say if the ticket was there or not, may even have been taken while the ticket was being purchased.
This latest letter they have offered for us to pay the £160 in £15 a week instalments.

should we ignore this one too?

Just the BWLegal scam adding a fake £60. As asked, is it a 14 days to respond or 30 days,

By the way, you do not have an account with BWLegal, it's all fairytale stuff.

In the meantime, you have some reading to do .....

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up,

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.
