Hi everyone DD has not had time to sort out f/t nursery yet!!!..he goes to nursery tomorrow anyway and they do have a full time place for him..this week his daddy will have to look after him though as she is also going to job centre tomorrow to sort out a claim for tax credits and his nursery etc...they only let her know she had the job late friday afternoon so she phoned the job centre and has an appointment for tomorrow...she worked her 16 hours at weekend but is doing extra this week as they are short staffed...she has tues, weds and sat off this week...other DD has had only 1 day off!!
Nothing to report and debt busting seems so slow as I'm paying for doors and windows at the moment...

    Morning everyone,
Day off today...and what a lovely sunny day here!!!...I have the washing on and have a couple of loads to do as well.
I'm also attempting to make a pan of pea and ham soup...I've soaked the peas since about 3pm yesterday and have the ham shank on now simmering away...never made it before so hope it turns out ok....we have chicken left over from yesterday for a meal also...so if soup turns out ok will be sorted for a couple of days meals...
Finances!!!...don't know whats gone wrong..I'm £164 into my O/D (it's usually around £2500 at this time of year)..so guess it's an improvement on last year!!!...I haven't put my tax and holiday money away for a fortnight so will have to catch up with that should be fully back on track by the end of march.
I don'y know yet whether I got the AMEX card but I checked quidco and it said AMEX validated £33.75 yesterday even though I applied on friday it never said tracked first and then went straight to validated yesterday....on quidco it says £33.75 for successful application...so don't know whether that means I've got it.

Just had a phone call from a lovely lady at AMEX and they have given me a £5500 limit..she didn't try to sell me insurance and has set up my DD to pay in full each month as requested so just awaiting the card and will use that instead of my Morgan Stanley one...:j:j:j:j:j
Cooked the pea and ham soup and DH says its nice.I think I put a little too much water in though but it should turn out better next time.
