Bloomin harry girl..look at those figures.. by Christmas you will be debt free at that rate! It looks really good..hopefully car will not wack it up too much!

It will put it up about £15k !!!!!!!!!!.....but I have to pay off the £1500 from salvage when I get it and some more to clear the finance and then there was the rebate so will work it all out as I go along...bit by bit as it's complicated..lol
I also have to try and debt bust as well...I wish to debt free but I've now added another year to my debtfree date now sept 2012 as I will have 4 years payments to pay now..instead of the 3 years I had left!!!!

Ah well it is nice for a day ......I dread to think what Mr.B has put our debt free date up by..i put it in the snowball whatsit and it said three years..but i reckon i can get it down before then.

It's not a complete disaster to me as I was aiming to be debt free in 2011 and would have been as that's when the other 2 loans finish ..I was also optimistically hoping that I could be mortgage free at that time also.... but with the hew loan not finishing until 2012 now I am probably very likely to be mortgage free by then as well.
My plans are that :
Halifax and MBNA BMI CCs both 0% are paid before december this year.(that's when the int free period runs out)
Virgin 0% to be paid off by July next year (that's when that int free runs out)
American express and morgan stanley (both cash back cards) are paid in full every month anyway.

The car loan(loan 3) will be paid in full within the next couple of weeks.
Loan 1 and 2 to run their course both finish in 2011

All spare money to be put into our offset mortgage which will be a safety cushion as well until we have enough to pay the mortgage off completely.

Loan 4 is the new car loan which will run for 4 years.

When loan 4 finishes I hope to be able to pay the mortgage off in full by then and be totally debtfree....
the next few weeks will be a struggle as I will be paying out for a lot of stuff before claiming it back and until we get the money back from all the claims.

Feels better to have wrote the plan out and see it here in black and white.

Always good to have a plan and its looks a good one too... Hopefully with any compensation your OH may get you may be able to pay a chunk off something too to give your plan a boost.

We discussed that the other week and DH agreed that was the best thing to do KM...the loss of earnings and everything we get back will be going towards debts.I would pay the loans off but there is no benefit to that.As soon as all CCs are paid off everything spare will be going into the mortgage account.
Hoping to get rid of the halifax CC next month.....it's one step forwards and two back but these things are sent to try us.

Well done on the plan - looks like you have successfully regrouped after the accident - hopefully compensation will bring it all forward at some point - but hats off to you doing the replanning so quickly. :T Good luck with it all.

and a cunning plan at that! Despite the setback youre doing really well! Wholly DF by 2011 is fab...I wont be for about another 30 years!! Keep up the good work & hope, despite what has happened, that you manage to enjoy the new taxi!
