Has anyone had the text message from virgin asking what option you would like for the refund of flights?  It is that long it is incomplete on my phone and ends partway through option (3) Full Refund (how convenient!) it stops at -
I will need you to confirm your departure date an
I have replied asking them what other information they need and they have just re-sent the same incomplete text message!! Has anyone received the full message that can tell me what else they need as well as the departure date.

    They should have all your full details,on mine it was just booking ref,lead name and d.o.b,then I received a follow up e-mail to confirm cancellation.

    Are you sure its not a setting on your phone that is cutting the end of the text off and keeping it to below 168 characters?

    I've had my usa flight cancelled by Virgin Atlantic & all correspondence from them has been sent by email. Be careful this isn't a scam, trying to get details.

    I don't know how to see how many characters I can receive!

    Its a reply from an original text I've sent to them as it was the only way I could find to contact them for the refund!

    I have found WhatsApp to be the best way of contacting and carrying on a dialogue with Virgin Atlantic
  • If you paid by card, and haven't already done so, you may wish to ask your card provider to begin a chargeback.
    I did so, on the basis that Virgin were offering full cash refunds (I sent my bank proof of this), and I argued that there was no reason that the refund should be delayed any further.
    Bank did a chargeback and Virgin did not dispute it.

    After again getting in touch with virgin have now received a reply that I will get my refund in 120 days....give or take a few days,so I’m in day 77😔

    That's pretty typical for them, we're in the same boat. Better late than never! :)

    They actually sent me another e mail to say they would be flying again soon and look forward to me booking a holiday with them🤦🏻‍♂️
