How to claim Trust House Forte pension

  • Hi, Could you help please I had a pension with Trust House Forte when I first started work may years ago how do I claim my pension from them I have no paperwork numbers etc, just wondered if you could help

    Pretty easy to google it. Here is the link to the webpage about it: https://www.compass-pensions.co.uk/index.php/5/133/tracing-your-pension. After selecting Trust House Forte, it said the following.

    Due to various acquisitions and mergers, any pension benefits you may have accrued with this company may now be held within the Compass Group Pension Plan. If you feel that this might be the case then please contact the Compass Group Pensions Department confirming your full name (including a maiden name if appropriate); the name of the Company you worked for; approximate dates of employment; Your National Insurance number and your date of birth. We will let you know if we are able to trace any records for you within the Compass Group Pension Plan.

    Hi

    I worked for THF between 1977 and 1980 , then again in 1984,I was wondering if I had a pension out with them..

    No. You wouldn't have had a long enough period of membership to qualify for a 'deferred pension'. 
    Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
