Euro Car Parks - advice required on how to resolve

I’ve read the newbie post but not sure where I stand at the moment:
a) the hire company made the PPC that I was the keeper so got a letter sent to me.
b) we got a fine for staying 45 minutes more in the Sainsbury’s car park than the 2 hours. “Offence on 14/3/20” issued 16/4/20. The letter has a photo of my number plate going in and out.
c) my wife soon gave birth and we’ve missed all the letters until now so have done nothing to date - no appeal etc.
d) I logged onto Euro Car Park and it says it’s with the debt collectors.
e) I’ve read the forums stating to do nothing when it’s with debt collectors.
my question is:
A) following my inaction will Euro Car Parks contact me again? I’ve not appealed so do I pay?

C) is there a way this can get resolved where I don’t pay and we don’t go to court?
thank you

Surely that is in the stickies, read them again.Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up,
Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Complain to Sainsbury's and get it cancelled by them
Surely you read plan A in the newbies FAQ sticky thread ??
This should have been done at the beginning , plus an appeal using the blue text template as well
ECP will have failed POFA on a hire vehicle PCN , no hire docs
No chance of it just going away , burying your head in the sand hasn't helped and won't help3 -
There is nothing to stop the hirer sending a late appeal to the scammers using the blue template as advised, and adding a one liner that since this was a hire/lease car, they have failed the strict requirements of the POFA to hold a keeper liable so they should pursue only the driver, who will not be named.
Alternatively send one of the edna basher appeal letters from the first post of the NEWBIES that deals with hire/lease vehicles.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks1 -
Euro Car Parks don't do court for single PCNs at the time of writing and this is easy to quash.
When you read the NEWBIES thread & found out what PLAN A is, what happened when you did that? DON'T imply who was driving in any complaint.
Why not also (in adition to PLAN A as per the sticky thread) post a late appeal to ECP proving that you've just had a new addition to the famly during lockdown and that their letters were not seen until now, and can they please give you a POPLA code, which you know from the BPA that any AOS member can under circumstances where the recipient of the letters has not used POPLA yet. Tell them you will complain to the BPA if they unreasonably refuse during lockdown, given the circumstances of having just had a baby. NO IMPLYING WHO WAS DRIVING, REMEMBER.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

a) Plan A is appeal to Sainsbury's. So I should just go to the manager - I have a similar one with Tesco as well. So will do the same with both.
I'll do the late appeal as well, that's a good idea.
Thank you all for your help. Will let you know what happens.1 -
Store manager and/or the CEO. Be warned that Tesco don't care about their customers as time and again the CEO has not bothered to help. Include copies of receipts/bank/card statements and or loyalty car numbers.
Get pics of the site and signage.
Remember, other supermarkets that aren't infested by parking scammers are available.
Also complain to your MP about this unregulated scam. In all cases, only the keeper should complain.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -
It's not an ''appeal'' to Sainsburys.
It's a complaint - dress smartly, take the offending letters and INSIST on speaking to the Store Manager re cancellation. Do not be fobbed off by other staff members who have been spoon-fed to say ''it's not our fault, appeal to the parking firm - we don't own the car park'' (= a lie).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Simon Roberts became CEO of Sainsburys at the beginning of June. Going by other Sainsburys email addresses, his should be simon.roberts@sainsburys.co.uk4
-
Thanks all, sainsburys worker spoke to manager on the phone who then took a picture of the letter and said manager would cancel it
do i get a confirmation?
Now for tesco..1 -
yes you should get a cancellation in writingBUT, check their website to see if its outstanding, as if you were going to pay it off, keep checking until it says amount = £0.00 or SOME OTHER INDICATOR that it is still outstanding or not, to ensure the manager did their job and cancelled itdo not just assume its been done, no sitting around and then back here complaining a court claim arrived in a year or tworinse and repeat for Tesco too2
