I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.1 -
Apparently you have to mention 'Yeo valley' in 'how you heard about us'.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.1

Interesting, but may only work for completely new customers - see the condition "This offer is limited to one voucher per new customer not one per account opening" below. So anyone (like me) who has a small deposit with Triodos (only £5 I think!) may not be eligible.
How to claim your £60 Ethical Superstore voucher
Redeeming the Ethical Superstore offer is simple. We will email you a voucher code to spend with Ethical Superstore after the balance of your Triodos Current Account reaches £100. This offer may be changed or withdrawn without notice at any time.
Step 1 - Apply
Make sure you're happy that the Triodos Personal Current Account is right for you and apply online.
Step 2 - Select 'Yeo Valley'
In the first step of your application when we ask how you heard about Triodos Bank, select 'Charity partner or Ethical Business' and then select 'Yeo Valley' from the list of our partners.
Step 3 - Start using your new account
Once we have opened your account, we'll send you all the information you need to begin using it. Triodos will email you a £60 voucher code to spend with Ethical Superstore after the balance of your Triodos Current Account reaches £100.
Terms and conditions
- This offer applies to the Triodos Personal Current Account only
- You must be over 18 and a UK resident to apply
- A fair £3 monthly fee applies to the Triodos Current Account
- This offer is limited to one voucher per new customer not one per account opening
- Please allow up to six weeks after your account reaches £100 for the voucher email to arrive
- The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of your voucher email and can only be used once
- Please visit www.!!!!!! to spend your voucher
- Triodos Bank reserves the right to decline any application
- This offer may be changed or withdrawn without notice at any time
The offer is only available to UK residents

Hmmm. It's an offer I could take advantage of... should I feel bad about taking the reward from these guys?
Realistically there's no way I'd give up all the perks I have elsewhere and no reason for me to pay £3/month going forward.
I've no problem taking hundreds of pounds in sign up offers from normal banks...1 -

FWIW - I did end up taking it, mostly out of curiosity - but I was somewhat open minded to the supposed benefits gsmh spoke of, seeing who my bank deal with etc. My £60 Ethical Superstore voucher was received today.
Triodos make a song and dance about how green their debit card is, although in my view this is rather undermined by the fact another envelope from them contains a single-purpose sealed 2FA device. I dislike these devices, and I have always avoided banks which mandate them (HSBC were the worst for it, but even they now let you use your phone instead).
The experience is all in all pretty crap. The online banking is rubbish and the app is very very basic.
I sent their customer service a fairly basic request by email, it took them 48 hrs to ask me to verify further details, then over a week after that to provide a response.
To top it off, their "ethical" credentials are somewhat undermined by their links to Cambodian extortionists.
Nothing at all to keep me, I'll be transferring away in short order.3 -

Nothing at all to keep me, I'll be transferring away in short order.I have since switched away too - back to the Co-operative Bank. Colsten alerted me to their not-so-green credentials in Cambodia in another thread. The 2FA device is a bit of a pain, as are most 2FA systems. I dislike intensely those banks where you are logging on to the online banking on a desktop/laptop, in my case because I am not a fan of app-based banking, then you have to also log on to the mobile app simply to confirm who you are. Virgin Money does that. I might as well use the mobile app in the first place. I suppose the Triodos Digipass device is more secure than an SMS code.Even though I am no longer with them, I had no complaints about the mobile or online banking services. You log on and can see your transactions, make a payment to a new person/company or an existing payee, see direct debits and standing orders, access various services, and so on. Pretty normal. I have banked with every high street bank and several others over the years and my least favourite online service was Barclays. So over-engineered and unintuitive. I lasted a couple of weeks with Barclays. Is it the Triodos UI you didn't like? For me, Triodos fell down with its awful "faster" payments which routinely take a couple of hours to happen, sometimes several hours, and on occasion sit in a pending folder until you call them. Not good given the difficulty in contacting companies by phone these days.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the one Faster Payment I made taking several hours to arrive.
There's a lot I dislike. The website feels incredibly old fashioned - it isn't responsive and generally feels like I remember online banking being 10-15 years ago.
The app interface is fine but it is very light on features, especially for something positioning itself as a modern challenger. I don't like the fact it doesn't show you your sort code though, that is a pain.
Kind of blows my mind that customers are content with paying £3/month for a service which is worse in every tangible way than most free accounts.0 -
