I’m changing supplier and they want my meter readings. Would someone mind confirming it for me? I’m never sure when it’s on the number ...

76948.
As said it's the last number it went past, the angle makes it more difficult to read.0 -

Between 7 & 8 = 7
Between 6 & 7 = 6
Between 9 & 0 = 9
Between 4 & 5 = 4
Between 8 & 9 = 8
Between 3 & 4 = 0.3
So 76948.30 -

Each supplier has a daily rate and kwhr rate that is added up with estimate of use to work out what the total cost will be.After checking that the kwhr rate is actually lower with the new supplier, it might be to their advantage to underestimate their reading (as long as it doesn't go below the last reading taken/submitted for current suppliers bill). That way they effectively get electricity now at the new rate even though the switch hasn't happened.A great moneysaving tip ;-)I remember those old meters actually have a small screw that acts as a switch to turn the meter off whilst still leaving the supply intact. No wonder they are being replaced!
