Quick question. Vodaphone sim only -2 yrs out of contract- would I still have to give 30days notice?

You moved onto a rolling monthly contract when the minimum term expired. Request your PAC from Voda, give it to giffgaff and they'll arrange the number port. This has the effect of notifying Voda of the contract cancellation. As you have no contractual minimum term to complete then the most it will cost you is up to 1 month fee with Voda.0
