Virgin Travel Insurance policy

 I have an annual policy with Virgin and it is due for renewal next week..The new policy quote now (as many other companies are doing) is not including any cover for COVID at all(also not covering airline failure or supplier insolvency )but we have had to move our holiday to next August . The issue I have is do I keep policy running to cover any future holidays we might take and in case holiday company go bust before the policy runs out next July (though we will then need a new policy for our August holiday 🤔.) Do I take out a single trip policy instead?
I can't access my policy online as they re saying can't retrieve my details, (I need to add medical),can't ring because I either get cut off or told I'm not travelling in next 7 days! 
I'm not feeling hopeful...

With medical issues I'd swap to staysure , still providing covid cover and were giving 15 months cover for a 12 months policy

Have just checked Staysure and still doing 15 mths cover with covid cover if ill abroad. Not sure anywhere is doing cancellation cover now, its all very tricky !
