Admiral renewal still not offered, 19 days to renew

I am aware that the soft spot for insurances is about 21 days prior to your renewal. My first year was about £980 with Admiral, and I've been getting quotes for my next insurance, and the best price is now about £720 by QuoteMeHappy, which is a decent drop considering it's an Audi A3. Admiral isn't shown on any comparison sites, and I have never received any renewal offer from them. I'd like to know what they would offer, and whether I can get it sub-700, but I don't want to wait for them to send me a renewal 10 days before it's due, if ever.

If Admiral is not shown on any comparison sites, and not sending a renewal, does that mean they do not want to insure me any longer? I wouldn't know why, because I have never claimed or anything?

Thanks in advance!

edit: also worth noting, I'll be 30 in 6 days, is it worth waiting until then, and I'm then hopefully crossing into a lower risk group or something?

Delays in the post possibily. Companies pay to appear on comparison sites. Make a phone call.

    .
I logged onto my Admiral account to check for the new price about 25 days before renewal, which is in mid July, and there was a message stating that they're experiencing delays in producing documents. That's probably why you're still waiting.
Rather than wait  I rang them, and they were happy to give me the new figure.

thanks y'all! i rang them today, their renewal offer was about £750, which is decent considering last year's insurance was almost a grand. still, i thanked them, and declined, saying i'll go elsewhere.

lo and behold, she comes back within a few minutes saying we can offer £610! so a very decent drop, especially when compared to last year, a saving of almost £400!

    thanks everyone! :D

I am in the same situation.  Admiral policy expires on the 27th, and no sight of a renewal letter online or the post.  I contacted them and they told me that they have not produced the renewal letter yet.  Given that this is 3 weeks away, it does concern me that this might affect my chances of getting a better renewal price elsewhere.

On a similar note, OH bought car insurance from Admiral and they have not sent out any emails to confirm.  Come on Admiral, get your finger out.

There is no need to wait for the renewal letter to do a comparison now and make a note of the best prices with the quote reference numbers. You can then review the renewal price when you receive it and go back and take out the other insurance if it's cheaper.

...after you've checked with Admiral if they'll beat the price elsewhere.
