Can I get AC fitted to my car?

Hi,
I drive a 2011 Volkswagen Polo Moda.
This car comes with heating as standard, but no air con, despite the knobs, dials and vents for AC all being included. 
Since it already has the infrastructure needed for air con, could I have it fitted? And would anybody be able to guess how much it would cost?

It would be cheaper to swap the car.

You won't have all the infrastructure in place, it will just be the electrics and a blank switch.  You will need the condenser unit and that comes with a pack with the radiator and then you will need the pump and the plumbing.  It will cost a fortune.

It’s possible but would be a huge job. None of the infrastructure is present .. lots of parts would be needed. 

Wind the window down .. it’s cheaper.

I actually did it once on a Renault Megan Scenic - it was a relatively new car
  - It was expensive. I don't remember how much but north of £1000

 - There was a fair amount of teething problems from the installation including steering pump failure
-  We lost the glovebox
- It was not as good as a factory fitted aircon unit

But why would you? It will add nothing to the value of a nine-year old car. Just trade it in for one with air-con.
