I think now everything over 60% needs an appointment. Same here, will pick the product during the appointment.AnxiousFTB said:I know my application was mid July but I was told I had to have a zoom appointment because anything under 20% deposit I couldn't go non-advised. Product picking therefore occurred during the zoom appointment.0 -
Hello, do I understand correctly that your application was submitted on your initial appointment and didn't need to go to underwriters?AnxiousFTB said:As an update for anyone in the HSBC process I had my call today. It was straight forward and I was surprised to hear I was accepted subject to valuation - I had been bracing myself for underwriters as I had read other threads where others were having to chase and chase. So far so good - valuation next!!0 -
Hi yes it was to my surprise. At the end of the zoom call the MA said this is the bit you've been waiting for -presumably pressed submit (drum roll) and said you've been accepted subject to valuation. That was the Monday, valuation the Thursday (I think) and full mortgage offer the Saturday. I'm aware I'm extremely lucky and I assumed it would go to the Underwriters.TainaN said:
