What do some of the most recent blue screen errors say?0
-
Blue Screens are almost always caused by one of two things:1) out of date device drivers2) Hardware failure, almost always memory.0

Control Panel/Admin Tools/Event Viewer - should have log files that indicate where problems are occurring.
They wont necessarily make any sense but if you are keen and do a bit of Googling what is listed you may get some idea of what the problem is.0 -
Is the cooling fan constantly on the go.0

What's your Dell's warranty? Express code? Don't be shy.0

First thing is to run Dell Diagnosticsfld14 said:Hi please can someone help. For the last week at all different times and using different things like zoom or maybe just a general search my laptop will crash. Blue screen but messages vary. It driving me potty. Would really appreciate some help.

Press F12 on boot up and run diags
My money is on a failing HDD
also run support assist
There is nothing to stop you extending the Dell warranty if you wish, but do not contact Dell for support before doing so0 -
Do your laptop cooling fan(s) run hot, or a lot of the time? Have you checked whether there is any fluff inside?Neil_Jones' suggestion about memory is a good one - remove the one or two short sticks and insert again carefully, in the hope that this will give better pin connectivity.0
