    using stuart45's 1 in 80, that does seem excessive.  In fact it's 4 times the slope suggested by stuart.

    That is a lot. Patios should normally fall away from the house, unless going to a drainage system.

    Hi all, thanks for your support.
    Thankfully we've managed to get the work corrected with no charge to us. We now have a very slight drop for rain water to run off away from the house. :)
