Brittany Ferries: So far so good

We have a holiday booked with Brittany Ferries in late August 2020 and have been reading the regular updates from their CEO on the website.
We're travelling from Portsmouth to Cherbourg and our ferry is one of the ones that is not operating before September.
We've had a few days of wondering whether we should try and contact Brittany Ferries to arrange an alternative crossing (although they've asked customers not to contact them) but decided just to wait it out and see what happened.
This afternoon we had an email from Brittany Ferries confirming that our ferry is cancelled but booking us onto a replacement ferry.
The new ferry is on the same day (both sides) just a little later outbound and a little earlier inbound, and takes an hour or so more than the previous booking. From the revised invoice they sent, they've also booked us a 4-berth cabin both ways (which we didn't book originally) at no additional cost (to comply with their new policies I guess). There will be five of us in a 4-berth but we'll make do.
So, all in all, we're feeling relieved that we'll still be able to go on our holiday this year, obviously assuming that the virus situation doesn't get worse between now and then. Also pleased with how Brittany Ferries have dealt with our particular case, although I know that others may not have fared so well.
