Maternity leave and furlough - ineligible due to being on forced annual leave?

    I think maybe the thread title about "forced annual leave" may be slightly misleading.
    It sounds like this was by mutual arrangement and choice at the start of mat leave and was "designed" to extend the period of mat leave - as many people do

    As they have only furloughed some staff anyway, the chances are they no longer need to furlough anymore, as if they did they already would have done. So it does not matter if the company can furlough her or not, as it sounds like they do not need to. Just that she would prefer to be.
