Is it possible to increase PCH with VWFS?

Options
In March next year my current three year PCH contract for a Skoda with VW Financial Services will come to an end.
The contract I am on was for 35,000 miles (105,000 in total).
During the first year of the contract I changed job location and greatly reduced my daily travel, and the Corona virus has reduced it even further with working from home for the last three months.

Does anyone have any advice on increasing the contract length from 3 years to 4 or 5 years, while retaining the same maximum mileage (105,000)?
I am assuming this would reduce the monthly fee by a reasonable amount as the value of the car will reduce slower over the coming years, taking into account the mileage staying the same.
I have attempted to call VWFS but despite picking a few different options was presented with 'we're not currently able to take calls' and being disconnected.
I had also previously emailed them a couple of months ago, but had no response.
I have used the contact form on the website today and will wait to see if that generates anything.

I do see that it is in their interest to decline this request as they get a car back with less miles on it, but as this is partially taking advantage of the Corona virus I'm not sure if there are any guidelines that can be used to assist in the discussion.
Thanks.

As you say, circumstances make it advantageous for them to take the vehicle back after 3 years, so I can see no reason for them to extend it. There are no coronavirus-related 'guidelines' for this: what applies in law is the contract you agreed.

they will extend it but it costs, I looked at it for my Skoda as had about 12 miles left - so that plus about 3 more would save me a massive £30.00 a month on what we where paying so didn't bother

It's a PCH, he may not have that option.

Yeah, PCH contract doesn't include a buy options as far as I can see, and my main goal was to lower monthly costs so probably wouldn't take that option if I were on PCP. The reason I went with PCH being the lower monthly costs I was able to get.

OK, I'll just wait and see if they respond.
If it has to go back I'll just put it down as one of those things and start the search for a replacement.
    Cheers.
