Jet2,Cancelled my flight in August

Hello,
First time I've asked a question to the WWW.
I booked flights to Prague at the beginning of the year for the start of August. I also booked my Airbnb. Once Covid happened, I was able to cancel my Airbnb booking (quickly and with no issues). I thought I would keep my flights booked (not rush to cancel and heap more trouble onto Jet2) plus I wasn't going to cancel and lose my money. (Flights are non refunded).
I received an email off Jet2 today advising they had cancelled my flights due to operating a 'reduced flight programme' which will start 15th July. They will give me a full refund within 28 days and I will be able to rebook if I should choose to.
Are they allowed to do this, it seems that it is a little convenient what with how much interest there is in going on holiday /airplanes and price increases?
Thank you in advance for any tips/insight /suck it up comments
