Furlough Claim Check

Options
Hi all, does anyone know of a way that you can check if an employer is claiming furlough payments from HMRC?
My situation is that I started a new job back in feb, after 2 weeks there Coronavirus started kicking off. I was put on Furlough at the end of March after 4 weeks with the company. They then proceeded to terminate my contract at the start of May as "Cost Cutting" due to the downturn in revenue caused by Covid. As I was on a probabtion period I have to basically suck it up. However, they do not seem to be very forthcoming in sending me my P45. Two months have nearly gone by. I have a niggling suspicion that they are claiming furlough payments for me as if I still work there. Is there any way of checking without going through my former employer?

No, there's no way of checking. You could take a look at your tax account to see if there's any payments showing on there. If there is then it's possible that they are claiming for you.
