It doesn't matter how long the warranty is you can still ask for it to be repaired/replaced if it hasn't lasted for a reasonable time. Defining that is difficult but I would expect most people would agree that a fridge/freezer should last longer than 14 months.You should give them another chance to rectify the situation - put it in writing - and if you get no joy you could get an engineer to repair it and then demand a refund via the small claims court.0
