I keep phoning the number suggested - 0800 727800, but having no success getting through .
Tried about 20 times on different days of the week and different times of day but never even make it into the queue.
Am I just unlucky or is the only way to get through to try 10 or 20 times a day ?
I noticed on another thread that some people are getting refunds even if they have not got through but so far no sign of that happening.

Don't bother, it's been like that for weeks, as they want you to jump through hoops to get a refund, or accept a voucher (the latter option of which can be easily done online).
Just do a chargeback on your card provider, it'll take a few weeks, but be quicker than waiting months for BA.No free lunch, and no free laptop

I had the same problem but if you don’t Follow their instructions and just hang on the phone you will get put in the queue and someone will answer. I waited 15 minutes in the queue but got my refund in the end.0

Having the same issue with getting told that there are too many people calling and to call another time. Is there another way to get through? Apparently we only have a specific amount of time to get a refund. Is this true or legal?
