After a few carefully delivered words via the executors the non-payer has caved in and paid the outstanding bills!!!
Now simply need to show them that paying off the loan is in the interests of all.
Thanks all for your advice.6 -
So didn’t think I’d be posting again but so much has happened.
The bill payer has left the property as it became unsafe to remain.
No contact from Executors
So the best £3 for a caveat
After numerous letters and threats of reporting their solicitor the will finally appeared. Please does anyone know when a will is worded I give devise and bequeath does it mean all of those?
‘I bequeath my estate to my grandchildren save I have included my daughter (named)’
There are 8 beneficiaries
1 child
5 grandchildren
2 family friends2 -
Look at this

You will note that where give devise and bequeath starts the clause "real property" is mentioned - in effect this means "land" (a gift of land is "devised").‘I bequeath my estate to my grandchildren save I have included my daughterWas this a DIY will?

I most certainly believe it was as I noticed the cellophane sleeve close by. It was witnessed by a solicitor and friend of dec’d0
