Living in deceased property awaiting sale - who pays the bills

  • So didn’t think I’d be posting again but so much has happened.
    The bill payer has left the property as it became unsafe to remain.
    No contact from Executors
    So the best £3 for a caveat 
    After numerous letters and threats of reporting their solicitor the will finally appeared. 
    Please does anyone know when a will is worded I give devise and bequeath does it mean all of those?
    ‘I bequeath my estate to my grandchildren save I have included my daughter (named)’

    There are 8 beneficiaries
    1 child
    5 grandchildren
    2 family friends

    You will note that where give devise and bequeath  starts the clause "real property" is mentioned - in effect this means  "land" (a gift of land is "devised").

  • I most certainly believe it was as I noticed the cellophane sleeve close by. It was witnessed by a solicitor and friend of dec’d
