Portfolio Analysis Tool??

Options
Sorry guys I’m sure there’s a relatively easy answer to this but I cannot find it!

Where can I obtain a free portfolio analysis tool which lets me add investments and see the weighting totals for equities/bonds/countries etc

Morningstar I’ve been told doesn’t save it unless it’s the paid version so need to keep re-entering which isn’t practical

I’m with Fidelity and they have it for currently held funds but I cannot ‘Add a fund’ to my current invested Pf to see what impact it would have on the weighting’s which is a small annoyance

I use trustnet but I believe HL also allow you to create a portfolio.

The analysis inside the HL xray tool (I'm a customer of HL) is worthless IMO.

I know II accounts have an x-ray analysis tool and allow you to set up multiple watchlists that can be 'x-rayed'.  But they also have a free research account.  It has been a few years since I used it so I can't remember if it has access to the x-ray tool.

Morningstar will track up to 10 portfolios if you are a basic ( free) member and no need to renter them each time .

However if you want to X ray these portfolios, you have to become a paid subscriber. It is possible to have a free trial period but I think they make it difficult to unsubscribe after the free month.

There is a free X ray facility but first you have to find it, and then you have to enter the portfolio ( max 10 items I think) separately.

You get a very similar looking one pager like you see with Fidelity ( they use Morningstar) .

I had a problem in that whatever I tried I could not get the site to recognise some pension funds I have with SW

You can get Morningstar Premium for a month at a time for £19.  You may find it worthwhile for managing an annual rebalance.  The paid-for version is much more comprehensive than the free one.
