Smart Notebook

I'm asking this, for a teacher friend. In preporation for school, she's asked, is there a way of opening Smart NOTEBOOK files, without Smart NOTEBOOK, or a way of converting them to Powerpoint. I did find links to Smart Notebook Express, but the software is no longer available.

Unless the powerpoint conversion has improved a lot since I used it, it's rubbish. The problem is that much of SMARTnotebook is interactive and that's hard for it to get into powerpoint or PDF, unless it's just simple slides / text and you want to print it.

I think the best way is usually to try and export to CFF which is the 'open' whiteboard format and then open in https://openboard.ch/index.en.html . But, it won't convert well, complicated files will need a lot of re-editing once it looks okay.

Thanks both. I've passed on your link TheRightOne. Jonnygee2, the problem is, she has no software to export it from. The file was sent to her, by email. She realises, that the pdf or powerpoint, will be missing the interactive stuff. She just wants the notes, so she can prepare, for when her school returns. I did find out, that there is an addon in Chrome (also works in Brave) that converts to pdf, so for now, she's happy with that.
