Hays Travel

Anyone having trouble with Hays travel and booked holidays in the near future - no options being given?
I am due to travel in 13 days to Portugal on a package trip and all they say is it is still on.

    So why are you not going? is it a case of you changing your mind.

    At present Portugal is open for tourists so no need for Hay's to cancel. Any claim for not being able to travel due to FCO advice would need to be made on your travel insurance.
    The FCO is reported to be updating its advice later this week when the airbridge countries  are announced but Portugal is not thought to be included.

    It's highly unlikely that the airline will fly if FCO advice is stil  against all but essential travel.  If that remains the case then the tour operator or airline will have to refund.
