Free Images

I posted a thread, a while ago, looking for free music, for a commuinty project I am working on https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6094610/royalty-free-music#latest. I'm having the same trouble with images. Searching for free, royalty free, or creative commons, brings up results, but then you follow the link, and most of the sites, charge for the images. Basically, I'm looking for images, even if it's clip art, for hospital porters, catering staff, cleaners, etc. As I said, I have searched, but probably not used the right terminology, and get links to sites that charge for download.

You are wasting your time searching for "royalty free" as this is not free though a great deal of it is sadly very cheap.  It just means that once the license has been purchased you can re-use it freely though sometimes the license does restrict the re-use. 
Public domain might be a better choice for searching.

Try https://pixabay.com/ too, I use this for loads of stuff
