A piece of useless information; every bond number ever issued goes in to the draw, when the numbers are drawn only active bonds are awarded prizes. All the redeemed bonds are disqualified........If that isn't an example of how strange decisions from committees can sometimes be I don't t know what is,  but it works..._

A couple of years back, having already won a £25 prize that month, I got an additional £25 prize with an explanation that the bond number that had originally won that prize was found to be ineligible(holder died??). So presumably they have some sort of reserve list?

Having been thru a similar mess up and getting compensation I was told my bonds would be put retrospectively in the October 2021 draw. Hmmm. Bet I win 1 prize of £25 so it looks like they were in the draw. And guess what I did. Received letter below that included this explanation. 3 weeks later nearly the prize had not been paid yet and doesn't show on the online app. I've chased and been told they take longer to pay out! Or maybe they just forgot? I'm extremely sceptical of the whole setup!
