We purchased on our credit card X 5, 2 days entry to Disney World in California in August. This is over £1200. Obviously we can't go now due to Covid-19. We have had refund back on all our air bnbs it's only Disney and Virgin (that's another story).we are hitting a wall with. Disney are saying ALL tickets are nonrefundable. They have offered to move them to next year but my husband has lost his job because of Covid19 and we won't be able to afford to go next year. Can I also stress that this was a once in a lifetime holiday and not a holiday we afford every year. So this money is so important to us at this time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Will Disney California be open at the point you were due to travel?
  • No it won't be. We can't even fly to America. If they did release flights around the time of departure 25/7 we would have to quarantine for 14 days.

It is too early  to say it won't b e open. A phased re opening has started with thee statement' at a later date'. If it is open at your holiday da then Disney have no requirement to refund. If it is still closed then that is different and Disney say they will contact you if they cancel to discuss  any refund.
The fact that you cannot travel is not Disney's problem. They only have to supply what your tickets bought.
Any claim would be through your travel insurance if you are covered for FCO advice against travelling.
