Virgin Gift Card

Hi All.
I have a booking with Virgin Holidays for a trip to Orlando in October this year.
As yet it's not cancelled or altered (I'm aware Virgin are moving their flights across to Heathrow, but nothing has been amended yet on our booking) and I'm happy to go with the flow with whatever advice there is closer to the time, and potentially rebook our trip for another year if required.
My concern is surrounding the payments I've made, with one still "Pending".
To save us a bit of cash, we purchased a reloadable gift card through an employment scheme I am entitled too, and we made an initial payment on the card back in December of round £1500.
We then loaded a further £2000 onto the card at the beginning of March 2020, and I spoke with someone on 12th March to make the payment towards the balance using said gift card. All payments onto the gift card where via Barclays/Monzo Debit Cards.
This was however, the same week in which America shut its borders and Virgin became incredibly busy.
It is now however 29th June, and the payment is still not showing on my account, and the gift card is still showing a balance of £2000 and I can't get any info from Virgin about when this will be processed.
You hear and read all sorts of things at the moment, and my worry really is the risk of VH going under and where that would leave us with a gift card payment that hasn't yet been processed. Does anyone have any thoughts, advice or helpful suggestions?
Thanks.
