Oven seals

I don't know if anyone can help me with this problem, but those who don't ask, don't get.
purchased a new Montpellier cooker in October 2018 and the oven seal broke in Aug 2019. Maybe that's not too bad, but on replacement with the correct seal, that one lasted until September 2019, then the next one until October 2019 ...that's too many seals in one year. Montpellier didn't want to know, nor the people I purchased the oven and the replacement seals from. And now the new seal from October 2019 has gone boiing. What can I do? What can I possibly be doing wrong to cause these seals to fail? The old cooker that was replaced with the Montpellier still had its original seal intact upon scrappage, so I find it ridiculous that a new cooker's seals should fail so often.
Any suggestions for any aspect of this problem, please? Or is it just the way things are nowadays i.e .shoddy workmanship?

I presume you mean the cooker door seal ??
If so does the door close tightly ??
If the door closes badly the heat from the oven could cause the seal to fail prematurely.

Why did you pay for 3 replacement seals, when at least 2 of them, and possibly 3, should have been warranty repairs? No free lunch, and no free laptop

@Macman, thank you for replying. Montpellier says the seals are not covered in the warranty.

The main oven seal (it has two ovens, one smaller which can be used as a grill).greyteam1959 said:I presume you mean the cooker door seal ??

I don't quite understand - do you mean the door 'should' close tightly? It does.
I would judge a seal by oven efficiency, and my cakes are rising just fine, so I doubt the seal was not fitted correctly.
