Hi a charity I work for has had a camera vandalised with paint unsure what type of paint was used.
Any idea of what can safely remove the paint?
Thanks

Is it a cctv camera in the traditional sense or a dome? Is the lens glass or plastic ? Usually traditional cameras where the lens is exposed - the surface material is glass - if it’s a decent dome - again it’ll be glass - but if it’s a budget dome it might be plastic. Paint thinners won’t affect glass - so you can use it on those - but might get a reaction if it’s plastic. Do you have a photograph of it ?1

Did it look like spray paint ? Typical graffiti ?1

Not seen the paint but do have an image.
The charity think it's a paint pen though.
Can post photos till tomorrow

Apparently the CEO cleaned the lens and is getting the CCTV installer in to check.
But thank you for your help
