Myself and my siblings have received inheritance after the death of our mother.  I have low income and my 3rd child is in her 2nd year of university. She is able to receive student grants and bursaries due to our low income.  If we sell the property will that means tested grant be impacted by having approximately £30,000 of cash from the sale of the house? There's also an additional £40,000 of asset held in property through the inheritance..

Basically no. It would only matter if it counted as income. I don't think you are talking about large enough amounts for interest/ dividends to come into play.
    Sorry about your loss.
