How to get refund if flight still going

Our Ryanair flights are still going to Portugal on 5th July but we do not wish to travel. Speculation is that travel corridors will not include Portugal anyway, and even if it was included, this is from 6th July, the day after our booking. Also, currently FCO advice is essential travel only. I booked the flights through last minute.com, who say I can move the flights to next year at a cost of 700 euros (almost as much as the original flights!) I cannot get a reply from Ryanair, and my annual travel insurance with Marks and Spencer will only accept calls if our flights have been cancelled. I did pay on credit card in January. What is the best way to attempt to get a refund please?

From Ryanair? You don't.
Payment method is irrelevent, if the flight goes and you are not on it you are classed as a no show. FCO advice is exactly that: advice.0 -
Check your travel insurance documents. It seems strange they are only taking calls from those whose flights have been cancelled as those customers would be due a refund from the airline. You are not due a refund from the airline if the flight is operating so your question to them will be whether the insurer will reimburse if you choose not to travel on the flight.0

Do you fall within this criteria? You’ll be able to make a claim if:https://bank.marksandspencer.com/pdf/M&STravInsCoronavirusFAQ.pdf
• You took out your policy and booked a trip before the FCO advised against all or all but essential travel to your destination outside of the UK and the advice is still in place 31 days before your departure date.
