    Depends on your situation, there are several situations where they are worthwhile
    • Maxxed out other cash savings and subject to tax
    • Temporary resting home 6-24 months for money that will be needed, say for house deposit
    • You will put the max, or close to, amount in, making it statistically almost certain you'll get the same rates as you would in NS&I, with a small chance of a much bigger payout (no, not the millions but maybe an extra 1/2 to 1% is realistic)
