Put some 2.2mm fibres in with the water (whisk real well first) - This will help to stop the plaster from cracking, but will also speed up the set time. To counter this, a teaspoon of citric acid or cream of tartar added to the water will slow the set time (or you could use Eazymix Extratime).floppydisk1 said: Mix multifinish with 1 bucket of cold clean water, spread 1 coat and go over with a trowel, ( as you won't be fast - by the time you lay it on and go over with trowel it will be ready for second coat )
