Balance transfer

I'm trying to pay off my credit card. I would like to find a 0% card to cover 3,000 but when I check online I can only find cards for 1,000. This is just 1 of 2 debts, the other a car on HP. Trying to improve my credit score which is poor due to 1 missed payment of a mobile phone which I cancelled but didn't get cancelled properly but I have now paid off. Strange how 1 credit score company differs from another! Grrr!

You probably already know this, but don't be concerned by any of the scores. It's only the data that lenders are interested in.
You won't find out your limit until you apply for a card, so choose one and just get in with it. You can always apply for a second if needed.

Thabk you for your kind advice.
So, apply for 2 x 0% cards and transfer? The process is not easy and I fear making my situation worse!0 -
Apply for one and what happens. If you get accepted, its very unlikely for a BT card to come with a low limit.0

When you say you can only find cards for £1000. What do you mean by that?0

All the cards show a representative £1200 limit to allow for comparison- that does not mean this is the limit you would get. Apply for one and see what limit they offer - if you are accepted. Your thread title is Money Transfer which is confusing as it seems like you actually want a Balance Transfer. Is that right - a money transfer is where they put the money in your bank account rather than moving the debt from an existing credit card to the new one.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

Hi Mallygirl
Its balance transfer. X0 -
I have searched for a balance transfer card with credit score of 964 thought this would be easy but they all come back not eligible for this card. Why?

Because you're not meeting their criteria. If you're not getting anything, you probably have a very poor history or too much debt.
Have you checked your credit files (not scores)?0
