Hi we had A holiday booked with virgin we are going for a refund but we paid most of the holidays we Intu gift cards which virgin destroyed after we payed now they want to put money back into the cards . With Intu in administration can I request them to be paid back to my bank account instead many thanks Stuart

Refunds must be in the original payment form - also remember Virgin will have a deal with Intu where they didn’t get paid the full amount; perhaps a 5-10% discount in return for more sales by accepting the card.
Virgin would be physically losing money by giving you a cash refund.1
